Radial honey extractors
A radial honey extractor is an essential device in modern beekeeping, used to efficiently extract honey from honeycombs. In contrast to the tangential honey extractor, in which the honeycombs are arranged tangentially, the honeycombs in a radial honey extractor are inserted radially, i.e. with the top of the honeycomb towards the center. This arrangement allows the honey to be thrown out of the honeycombs by centrifugal force when the centrifuge rotates. The advantage of the radial arrangement is greater efficiency: more honeycombs can be thrown at the same time and often no turning of the honeycombs is necessary. This saves time and work, which is particularly important for larger beekeepers. Radial honey extractors come in different sizes to accommodate different production volumes and are known for their effectiveness and protection of the honeycomb during the honey harvesting process.
