Tangential honey extractors

A tangential honey extractor is specialized equipment in beekeeping used to extract honey from honeycombs. It works on the principle of centrifugal force. During the spinning process, the honeycombs are inserted tangentially, i.e. laterally, into the spinner. As the spinner rotates, the force pushes the honeycombs outward, causing the honey to be thrown out of the honeycomb cells and then collected on the edge of the spinner. This method is efficient and gentle on the honeycomb, allowing beekeepers to reuse the honeycomb after the honey harvest. Tangential honey extractors are available in different sizes to suit different needs and capacities of beekeepers. They are an essential tool for beekeepers to harvest honey in an efficient and sustainable way.
