With our gas-operated wax melter you can conveniently extract wax from old frames, uncapping wax, wax residues or damaged frames using steam. The wax from the old frames can be melted without having to cut them out. The melting of the wax is achieved by hot steam, which is passed through the drain into the prepared stainless steel container.

The device consists of an outer container with a base tray and a perforated basket for the frames, a lid and a gas burner.

The process of wax melting:

1. Fill the container with water up to the level of the drain pipe
2. Place the frames or lid wax in the basket
3. Cover the melter with the lid
4. Adjust the gas burners so that their flame heats the entire bottom of the pot
5. Wait for steam to form, which will melt the wax after a few minutes
6. After the wax has melted, lift out the basket and check the water level! If you notice a drop in the water level, refill the water tank
7. Fill the basket again with old frames or lid wax
8. Once finished, turn off the gas burner and close the gas bottle
9. Clean the basket
